Battleship

This version of Battleship is dated 1985 and made by Milton Bradley.

Its had some wear this game, but all the pieces are
present. The box is definately scuffed and stained
some what, but still readable.

The very first board game my husband and I brought
as a couple was the electronic version of battleship
that came out in the early 90's.

Vintage Board Games - I would like : }

Okay there a just a few Im watching on ebay that I would so love to add to my collection. When I say there are a few Im watching it is an understatement : } Theres lots!!!!!!!! But the following I would really love.

Good old Game of Life!! Just
have to have atleast one version
in my collection.

I would soooo love this McDonalds game!!!

How cool is this Sale of the Century
definately vintage!

Of course - The Waltons!!!

Had not seen this one before,
but it looks cool!!

Mouse Trap Game

I think every kid that ever saw this game wanted it!!!

The Mouse Trap Game was originally made by IDEAL in 1963 and this particular edition of the game was produced in  1975. It  is unfortunately missing the rules, the man who dives into the cup and the cup.  Although some nice person replaced the cup with a tupperware replica, reasonable trade I say.

I found this game at a local Salvo's store for about $3 and was completely smitten with how it had been kept. Although there are a few pieces missing it is in brilliant condition with the original plastic bags that contained the pieces.

For more information on the Mouse Trap Game go to:

This is a really cool game but its an absolute pain to set up.  The newer version is much easier to place the pieces than this one, its almost like putting a jigsaw puzzle together.
BUT it is fun to play.

My Mothers Day Present - Vintage Board Game

Well not many mothers would be impressed with their Mothers Day present being purchased from the local Op Shop. However I'm an extraordinary mother with a passion for vintage.  My latest collecting streak has me collecting (hoarding) Vintage Board Games.  Im not really sure what started the obsession but I've now got over 60 board games and counting.

Today my gift was the board game -
Where in Time is CARMEN SANDIEGO.

For sure Im excited!!!!!  This board game was made in 1996, so not quite so vintage but will happily add it to my collection anyhow.  My boys thought they had done real well op shopping, and I will give them full credit for their $5 purchase.  Bargain hunters - love it.

The basics of this game is to find where in time Carmen Sandiego is hiding. To get the full info on  Carmen Sandiego  check out:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Sandiego.

The all important board!!!!!!!!
